Cyn is a professional coach and mentor that teaches people how to become a distributor on Amazon, selling products with no upfront investment. She was ranked in TOP 10% in the US 4 times, achieving Circle of Excellence Award 1994, 1995, 1997 and 2005.

Cyn is a woman entrepreneur that is highly respected, well-liked and known for her expertise in sales, building relationships and multilevel marketing. She has a strong history of training and developing others to become successful and, most of all, she thrives on finding resolutions to issues and is consistent in achieving desired results.

In this interview, she shares her entrepreneurial experiences. You really have a lot to learn from her story.

INTRODUCTION

PLEASE TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF AND THE BUSINESS YOU STARTED?

I started my entrepreneurial journey originally with a Shopify Jewelry business. I chose that niche just trying to get my feet wet on learning eCommerce. Even after all the research, I put in, I quickly realized this model was not for me. Inventory was too hard to source with a viable profit margin and the cost of advertising to drive traffic to the site was substantial.

I then started pursuing Amazon. The traditional ways of selling there are retail arbitrage, online arbitrage, wholesale and private label. None of those options were successful for me either.

That’s when I created my own method of partnering with other businesses to sell their products for a commission. My marketing degree certainly helps in product promotion. Still, the best part of this entire setup is I don’t have to invest my own funds in product inventory upfront.

THE JOURNEY SO FAR

HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH YOUR BUSINESS IDEA?

Once I determined the other traditional methods of selling on Amazon weren’t a good fit for me, I had to start thinking outside the box and figure out a new approach that would work for me.

So I began contacting businesses and asking them if I could sell their products on Amazon for them for a commission.

 

PLEASE DESCRIBE THE PROCESS OF LAUNCHING YOUR BUSINESS.

Once I found a business that needed and wanted my help, we met several times to iron out all the details, and I listed their products on Amazon. Sales took off pretty much instantly.

The overall concept here is to find a business that already has excellent selling products either in their own brick and mortar store or their own website. Then you can simply mimic their store on Amazon and provide an entirely new audience of potential customers.

 

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT AND YOUR BIGGEST CHALLENGE ALONG THE WAY?

Biggest Achievement: My biggest achievement has been tripling my clients’ business through my Amazon sales efforts. We sold $1 Million in inventory the first year. I earned $150,000 of that in commissions.

Biggest Challenge: The biggest obstacle would be creating my ‘system’ of how I now manage the business. Once that was complete, it is now straightforward and a basic ‘plug n’ play’ system anyone can use.

 

HOW DO YOU PROMOTE YOUR BUSINESS?

We created a webpage that showcases our Amazon Account Management services, and we send the link to prospective clients.

This is a great tool to generate interest in how we can help businesses sell their products. We also use social media, cold calling, flyers, and any other technique available.

 

WHAT IS YOUR VISION FOR THE FUTURE OF BUSINESS?

Scaling with more clients and bringing on new team members to manage daily activities. We are also further partnering with our business clients by offering web re-design and automated integrations, where we can further promote their business outside of Amazon to gain even higher customer conversions for them.

This service offering builds an even stronger relationship with the client that guarantees long term commitment to working together.
